Sometimes when I paint, it is instantaneous. Like this painting, A Mother's Love.
It was created from a vase here in my home, and of all thing's artificial flowers! But there is something magical and beautiful about the arrangement. Is it the colors of the flowers? The soft creamy sage green color of the vase? The mystical, smokey gray background?
Not sure but it spoke to me in a way I still can't completely articulate. And I hope it draws you in the way it did me.
